Linen is a natural fibre derived from the flax plant. Heavier and stronger than its cotton counterpart, linen may feel crisp at first but through time and use becomes soft and supple. Apart from its durability and low impact on the environment, linen’s most appealing feature is its breathability and longevity. It absorbs up to 20% of its own weight without feeling damp, making it highly absorbent and quick drying.

About
Bed Linen
Slubs – a slightly thicker portion or knot in the thread – is part of linen’s natural character. This isn’t a fabric defect and will not tear. For public health reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on bed linen.
Important to Note
Linen’s characteristically relaxed look is due to the nature of the fibre, which naturally has poor elasticity. Linen wrinkles easily, but has a lot of movement and stretch.
How to Care for Linen
- Machine wash on a gentle cycle at a 30° C water temperature.
- Always line-dry linen. Do not tumble dry as this can break the linen fibres.
- Do not overdry linen in the baking sun
- Do not dry-clean.
