Made from seed pods from the cotton plant, cotton is an environmentally friendly material that is simple to produce and incredibly versatile. Due to large scale farming and production, it comes at an affordable price. Cotton fibres are soft yet strong and hold dyes effectively.
Commonly blended with other fibres like wool or jute, it's rare you'll find a rug made entirely of cotton. The combination of multiple materials creates a well-rounded rug. In high traffic areas, cotton is not recommended.
