WEYLANDTS, STORE DESIGN
Reimagining the traditional retail environment, the Weylandts concept stores in Sandton, Bedfordview, Port Elizabeth, and Ballito offer a carefully curated selection of products, services, and experiences. Following various concepts, we combine soft hues and layers of texture to bring the showrooms to life.
Inspired by nature in its varying forms, shoppers are able to interact with the products in new, exceptional ways. The concept stores offer a range of unique, curated retail experiences. This involves careful planning and meticulous attention to detail.

Bedfordview
A quintessential Meditteranean escape, the Bedfordview concept store is brought alive with greenery and soft, subtle hues. A mosaic floor and scalloped focal features create light-filled talking points. We incorporated custom illustrations, skylights and living plants for a fresh, lush tropical look and feel.
Port Elizabeth
Following the theme ‘Collector of Landscapes’, we incorporated graphic wallpaper, grass walls and rusted steel. Inspired by a folklore tale, we used cast concrete and rich, charcoal tones for a textural, moody aesthetic.
Sandton
The Sandton concept store was transformed into ‘Hotel Weylandts’, complete with a concierge desk and a champagne bar. The nuances of a high-end hotel were created, while still being functional and serving a retail purpose.
Balito
Ballito is known as one of the areas where coelacanths were recently rediscovered. We leveraged this and incorporated fossilisation and the layering of age to transform the Ballito concept store. A sandblasted reception desk, sandy tones and textures, and custom illustrations carry the concept home.
